When you think about it, all major and/or popular phone operating systems are the same. Whether you have an iPhone, and Android device, a Windows Phone, a Blackberry, or whatever else you may have, they all do the same thing.
All smartphones nowadays can do the same things; they can play music, take photos, give you access to social networks, allow you to browse the internet, and much more. The only difference is that these devices accomplish these tasks in different ways, and often the interfaces look different. Also, some of these devices accomplish certain tasks better than others.
In the end, all of these devices do the same thing, and the one that you use simply depends on which interface you like best. Personally, I use a Windows Phone. Before this I used a Blackberry, and even further before this I used a cheap Symbian device with a resistive touchscreen. Next week I may decide to use an Android phone, though I probably won't because blogging doesn't really bring in that much money. What I am trying to say is that we should stop trying to decide which smartphone operating system is the best, and simply conclude that they are different. Actually, that is a stupid statement. Obviously, there is a best smartphone operating system.
